I own a few exercise tapes with my Tai Chi DVD being my favorite. I always look for quick, easy but effective routines that fit into my busy schedule without leaving me feeling tortured. For that reason, I think the new ABS DIET WORKOUT is the perfect choice for just about anyone. Nine time Iron Man champion Tom Holland leads this fast paced DVD that is sure to fit into your own exercise routines. The DVD is divided into three key sections and you set your pace--beginner, intermediate or advanced. From the main menu the view can choose "Abdominal Exercises," "Full Body Circuit Training," or "Bonus Material." Starting with the "Abdominal Exercises," I chose the beginner level. This selection offered a short program, it seemed to be about five minutes long, and I could certainly feel the muscles at work. The exercises were easy to follow, yet still packed a punch. Eventually, I hope to work through every level which is what makes this tape unique. You can raise the notch as your muscles adjust. Next up was the "Full Body Circuit Training." There you work just about every muscle in your body. You do need small weights for this section, but that is the only equipment you need to have on hand. The length is a little longer, but still very manageable. At the end of this section is an option for "Power Stretch, here you'll find exercises that stretch and tone all of your muscles. Finally, in the bonus material you can view the Abs Diet basics--a great summation for those who have yet to purchase the book. This is followed by recipes (print them out if your computer has a DVD player--the Bodacious Brazilian Chicken is one of my favorites) and then the Abs Diet Maintenance Program. All in all, THE ABS DIET WORKOUT is a nice DVD to keep handy! Whatever your level of exercise, this tape will suit your needs.
